Even better when it’s up on the roof of one of our favourite Soho hotels. Usually kept secret for those in the know the rooftop at The Ham Yard is pen this winter and is the place to hit up for hot gin cocktails, hot water bottles and cosying under blankets with a (hopefully) hot crowd.

The Winter Gin Garden is open through to 31st December so it’s got all your winter date nights covered. Things kick off with a Milk Punch, a twist on a 17th-century recipe made with Sipsmith’s Origin 1639 Gin, Ruby Port, Sipsmith London Cup and a tea blend. There are other hot cocktails on offer like Hot Chocolata and a hipflasks full of classic Toddy. Snacks are top notch too and cooked over an open fire; Black Truffle flatbread and Juniper-Smoked Mushroom Skewers but we’re here for the Toffee Apple Crackers and Toasted S'mores.
