What’s the best thing about your job?

Mainly all of the amazing people I get to meet. That and getting to travel the world and constantly experience new cultures, languages, food, and drinks.

You can teleport to any bar in the world, where are you going?

Hmmm that’s a tough one. Right now I’d love to be at either Pistola y Corazon in Lisbon or Barking Dog in Copenhagen – two of my favourite places to drink tequila (outside Mexico ;)

You’re at the bar ordering a drink – who in the drinks biz do you want rocking up next to you?

James Estes (my cousin!), who is currently running bars in Malaysia. We’ve been ‘partners in crime’ since we were kids and I don’t get to see him as much as I’d like these days.

What is your desert island bottle?

Tequila Ocho 2008 Las Pomez

What is your hangover cure?

A nice cold horchata, a Mexican agua fresca made from rice, condensed milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
