I have served two of the James Bond actors and when one ordered his martini it wasn’t a vesper and he asked for it stirred, not shaken. It was a complete disappointment! The other kept to neat whisky.
Served great cocktails? Yes.
To be the next James Shearer! I am really excited with everything that is happening at Oblix bar, James is one of the most exciting visionaries in the industry, and it is great to work with someone so enthusiastic every day.
There are no good chat up lines! The worst was when I worked at The Connaught, a customer walked out without paying, when I ran after him with the bill he asked if I was running after him to give him my number… Hmmm don’t think not paying your bill is a way to impress.

I think someone’s favourite spirit is reflective of their personality. I would make something Tequila based: fiery, strong and bold but of course complex. It would have to be with Don Julio 1942 Tequila to keep it classy.
A chilled martini glass, a spray of vermouth, gin straight from the freezer and 2 olives.
I love to fish and when I was a kid I wanted to travel the world fishing, and make a documentary out of it.
