Bartenders
Born/High school in Australia. Then Dublin, Belfast, London. My accent confuses people.
Where haven’t I worked? Two tropical islands in North Queensland. Black Pearl in Melbourne. Did a stint in Brisbane. Random stuff in Dublin. The Merchant Hotel in Belfast. Paramount, London then Hawksmoor, Seven Dials. Trailer Happiness, London. Then 2.5 years freelance in London/NYC. I like to travel!
Trailer Happiness, Happiness Forgets, Love Shake, LAB, El Camion, Extra Fancy, Attaboy, The Dead Rabbit, Midway, Employees Only.
Water.
Apparently I’m on a tourism banner for visit Scotland. OR I once told Jake F Burger in a competition that if he wanted the history of the martini he should go read a book. It was published in Imbibe. I’m never going to live that down. I clearly did not win the comp either…
No. Don’t think I ever will…
Currently in visa limbo… But I have a good feeling you will be visiting me in NYC for the next few.
Hi, my name's William.
The only bar currently open in London that I haven’t worked in but want to is Happiness Forgets, it’s a special place. And… I miss London.
Well last time I gave Barchick a layback it went straight in your eyes… (sorry!) So most likely something with a straw. A Collins(Gin, Flavoured Vodka, Rum, Tequila, whatever you were in the mood for) with absinthe dashes or a shaken strawberry daiquiri with Balsamic and cracked black pepper garnish. Most likely Ron Cubay Carta Blanca, a killer daiquiri rum!
Depends on the gin but usually a little wet, citrus twist.
An athlete but I turned out too short. If I wasn’t a Bartender I would most likely be a paramedic.
