This Kensington spot was founded by Elon Soddu, former head mixologist of The Savoy, so it's got some serious hotel credentials - not to mention a team of spiffily clad bartenders who cut their teeth in London's swankiest cocktail dens. Amaro's all about high-end quality and intimate neighbourhood vibes. It's got space for just 38 peeps, but its stunningly lit back bar, tropical touches and seriously suave service give it a dose of grandeur. 

You came for the cocktails, and these guys deliver. There's a strong focus on the classics here, with some inventive twists that take 'em to the next level. The Dec's Martini is a real knockout - a deceptively simple-sounding and massively complex mix of Boatyard Gin, Cocchi Americano and mezcal served straight from the freezer, it secured a spot among our favourite Martinis in London the second it graced our lips. Fruity drinks more your thing? You've come to the right place. From the Banana Gimlet, to the Fig Old Fashioned, to the Kiwi Margarita, this menu doesn't shy away from mega-fresh flavours.
