On a quiet street in Chinatown, where legendary Milk & Honey once was, this spot clearly has good cocktail juju. Attaboy is counted among the best bars in the world - it won the number-one spot in North America's 50 Best Bars 2022, as a matter of fact - and rightfully so. In true NYC style, it's hard to find, though the AB on the unassuming door will give you a clue. Knock, wait patiently, and hope they still have space for you. This isn’t a place to bring the crew.

Named after a vintage clothing store in owner Michael McIlroy’s hometown of Belfast, this bar has a proper retro feel to it with plenty of brickwork and sexy lighting. It’s long and thin, with less than a dozen seats at the bar and a few tables. The back bar is impressive, though not as impressive as what’s being done in front of it.

This is a prescription kinda place – tell the barkeep your ailment and he’ll find the cure. We’re pretty sure you’ll be happy. The cocktails are the type of killer to get the geeks going, but it's still super laidback. Go, take your time, and say hi from BarChick.
