What used to be a garage in the 1950s is now a firm favourite lunch and dinner spot and a Bajan boutique hotel. With its statement blue trimmings, wooden floors, fans and gilt mirrors, it’s an awesome place to sit when on the beach. Secure a table at the front to enjoy the sea view and watch the tide come in. The food here is on point with fresh salads, fish and a damn good cheese burger.
Just here for some drinks? Grab a table on the beach and get people watching, or sit at the bar and make friends with the bartender. The wine list is good and long, but check out the cocktail menu if you want to get boozy. You will usually see the likes of Simon Cowell or some footballers lounging here with wine at lunch time in the high season.
The Lone Star Sour was our favourite with brown rum, apricot brandy, lime juice and simple syrup, served on the rocks... nice and refreshing in that 30 degree heat, maybe get a couple in!
