Back in the day, Monot used to be where all the cool kids hung, but now this leafy street, full of stunning Beiruti architecture and great bars tends to draw the older, less rowdy crowd.

Pacifico was a very welcome break for BarChick, who was in need of a bit of down time. With outside seating in the courtyard surrounded by different watering holes and a Mexican cantina y bar feel inside, it’s all pastel colours, Latino music and mosaic floors. It’s a hit any night of the week and immediately bought BarChick back to life.

In keeping with the theme, Margaritas, chips and salsa are the specialities here but they also have a great selection of cocktails, including the weekly house special. Chilled drinks with mates or a date with your lover, Pacifico will always deliver and has done for the last twenty years
