From the outside, this place doesn’t look like much, on a desolate block between the canal and the Royal Theatre. But behind some dimly lit windows is this massive art deco drinking cavern just waiting to be discovered. From the same folk who brought you Salon 39, Brass Monkey and Gilt, you can have some pretty high expectations, especially after a top 10 nomination for Best New International Cocktail Bar at 2014’s Tales of the Cocktail.

Make yourself at home at the impressive marble bar, cast a look at the bottle collection and politely pick your jaw off the counter. It’s a heavy hitting treasury of almost anything you can think of, which the bartenders are only too happy to play with. We liked their twist on an Espresso Martini - the Joe’s Martini with Bulleit Bourbon, espresso, apricot and cacao. Who needs sleep, right?

If you’re rolling deep with a crew, they’ve got plenty of space. For those that like to plan ahead, you can actually book, or just try to snag one of the big leather booths and bunker down for the night.
