BRAVO BELLA! Roberto’s is that hot Italian that makes you swoon at hello. One of the cosiest lounges in DIFC, it’s a refreshing break from its swanky neighbours. Bring on the hot dates and ‘business’ lunches.
The cocktail menu is full of crisp Italian twists of classics. We started with the Pavarotti Punch (Bacardi Superior & Gold, cherry brandy, Falernum bitters, pineapple juice, fresh orange and orgeat syrup) – novelty mug available for purchase. Moving onto the hard stuff, the Renaissance Negroni is served in a barrel with a side of classic bruschetta (London Dry Gin, Carpano Classico, Campari bitters and orange bitters aged for over a month). The food is pretty epic too. We’ll have us a Roberto’s pizza to round things off nicely.
With lots of natural light by day, by night the lingering smell of cigars, fairy lights under the orange trees and swooping high ceilings give it good vibes. Hit it up for aperitivo hour (Thursday 5-8pm) just like the Italians do then watch the sun set over the Burj Khalifa views, before things ramp up, deep house style. DJs play six nights a week with a Sunday special of old school records.
