Especially this one found reigning supreme off the lobby of the ultra-luxe Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh. Slink through the grand foyer, slide past the dapper reception team and you'll find yourself in Bar Prince. This joint might have a royal title, but you don't need to dig out your finery to roll here.

Pull up one of the cornflower blue leather chairs or perch at the bar. Festooned with gleaming copper barware, it's got a gin collection that'll make any juniper fanatic weep. Then watch as they do some smashing things with 'em. Of course, they're rocking a wicked collection of champagnes, scotch, old and new world wines... but as this is a bar with a premium creation of their own, you know you're in good hands if gin if your spirit of choice.
