Last time Erik Lorincz was commanding a bar, it reached the No.1 spot on the 50 Best Bars list. Yeah, the guy knows his sh*t. Goes without saying that there was one hell of a buzz and some pretty high expectations when it came to his new digs hidden beneath Moroccan resto Momo, in a secluded alcove off Regent Street. But it's ok, 'cos Kwānt met 'em all. It's already made it onto the 50 Best Bars list. Boom! It's a classy, muted tropical haven from a whole other era. Above, it's all bamboo ceilings; below its a herringbone-patterned carpet. And there are palms everywhere - BarChick's dream living room. 

Open 'til 1am and even later if you're lucky, this is the basement we roll into for a nightcap when we're over the Soho way.  The menu? Well, it's obviously ace. Erik and the team have gone all out designing the drinks. They've fermented pineapples, grown micro-herbs under hydroponics and dabbled in the exotic like a modern-day Caractacus Potts. But even with a dose of the left-field, it's still elegant af and served in the kinda glassware you wish you had at home. Say hey to Erik - you can't miss him in that super suave white jacket - and tell him BarChick sent you.
