Circolo is the restaurant version of that person.

But that's what to expect from the Big Mamma team behind Old Street superstar Gloria. The aim of the game is to eat, drink and be hella merry. See those walls? Over 20,000 bottles of booze are lining the shelves. This is la dolce vita at its finest.

Rock up with your crew and make a night of it. For birthdays or mate catch-ups it’s a stellar choice. First date vibes are also on point. It’s stunning (all twinkly fairy-lights and ceiling foliage, like a sexy grotto), the buzzing crowd means you’ll never have awkward silences, and most importantly the soft lighting is insanely flattering. Sorted.

The cocktail menu is a massive sheet with drawings next to the options - yeah, that is a drink served in a pair of t*ts. Those copywriters were sure having fun. BarChick cracked on with the Anti Brexspritz, far more appealing than its namesake. The wine we ordered was described as 'the Ryan Gosling of the vino world'... go figure. Pair this with carbonara made at your table followed by tiramisu spooned direct from the serving dish by a fit waiter and boom, you’re in foodie heaven. When BarChick visited we were the last people left in the restaurant, knocking back Limoncello while the staff packed up around us. Nuff said.
