We don't know if you've heard, but gin has been kinda a big deal for a good long while now. For a single bar, The London Gin Club played a significant role in the juniper spirit's rise to world domination - and now this Soho stalwart is getting a new lease of life from the Mr Fogg's crew. The new concept is inspired by the building opposite, which in the 19th century was a hat factory called Henry Heath's.
Set over two floors, the space is set to serve up some serious whimsy in true Mr Fogg's fashion. Upstairs, it's all about the Victorian tavern vibes, with loadsa antiques, wood panelling, a bronze ceiling and a menu of ales and punches for a chilled post-work drink. Downstairs, in an ode to its Gin Club roots, things are dedicated to the juniper spirit - but they still get the Mr Fogg's treatment. That means gin cocktails with OTT presentations (like Take a Bath, with Bombay Sapphire, St-Germain, Nonsuch Pineapple & Ginger Shrub, pear and lemon, served in a mini bath tub with "soft lavender air") and a hefty selection of gins behind the hat-factory themed bar. Nightcap, anyone?
