Come after sunset to this leafy Ibiza-style chill out garden, not dissimilar to KM5 in Ibiza. This place is pretty spectacular with loads of sofas, cool French music and pretty fairy lights hanging from every tree. It is definitely worth coming here to not only perve on Mumbai’s glitterati, but to also indulge in the beautiful garden. Get a table and order dinner, the menu is home to traditional and tasty Indian food. Expect kebabs, jhinga dum anari (prawns in almond and pomegranate curry) and gucchi ki biryani (rice cooked with morel mushrooms) amongst other delights, there is even a street food option (probably a safer bet over what the dude outside your hotel was offering).
After dinner hit the cocktails, but stick to the classics just to be on the safe side. However, even the basic Champagne cocktails have some variations – for example the Bellini comes with Schnapps not peach purée. When you’ve had enough lounging, and things start to heat up, head upstairs to the bar. It’s pretty swanky in here: kinda lofty, dark and sexy. Blag your way upstairs to the VIP mezzanine, BarChick did (obviously, but if you’re a hot girl it’s pretty easy), it’s cool up here - if you don’t mind being letched at by Mumbai’s elite money cash flashers. Whatever, make like you’re a Bollywood superstar and stay late.
