This place is pretty laid back and is thee way to escape from the crowds - just try not to get squashed on the massive roundabout outside (especially if leaving after a few). Inside, it feels a bit like you are on someone’s very swanky old yacht, so bring out the sailor hats and get involved, oh and buy some art, why not? It’s all for sale.

Come for grown up breakfast early, and eat pancakes/French toast or eggs and lyonnaise potatoes (whatever they are). Alternatively you can make like BarChick and have a Bloody Maria with tequila not vodka, served in a jam jar with all sorts of garnishes: cornichons, olives and pickled cucumber – who needs pancakes? It looks totally over the top and tastes great. If you're not an early bird then come later - they're open till 1am and after work this place is pretty lively.

There is good, classic Italian food (pizza / pasta..), plus the bar snacks are awesome: calamari, goats cheese bruscetta and fish fingers. If you've been in Mumbai a while you'll have noticed that the cheese scene is non-existent (except for all that Paneer!), so come here for your fix from their cheese platter, or go to town and get feta, Gouda, cheddar, goats and/or Parmesan on top of an omelette…

Hit the ‘drinkables’ menu, as with Busaba, the Espresso Martini got a little bit lost in translation, (BarChick’s not used this additional Baileys) but whatever it still tasted pretty damn goooood in these parts.
