Sure, Naked for Satan is a cool bar. Specialising in vodka and pintxos, there’re huge copper stills in the window and they serve some twelve beers on tap, both local and imported craft brews, as well as artisan spirits from around the world. It’s a deserved favourite amongst the eclectic Fitzroy crowd, but it’s all about the bar’s upper level: Naked in the Sky.

Floating above hipster hangout Brunswick Street, these are the best views of the city you’ll get out of the CBD. The upper level is only reached by an elevator, so be prepared to wait. On sunny days, Saturday nights or other busy times, you’ll be holding out for 45 minutes to get up there, so be early, be patient, or get your flirt on.

The cocktail list is small and simple, but your best bet is to hit the wine and beer and rely on the view to knock you out. Grab a bite from the Basque style tapas menu, or there’s also a full restaurant too. In winter, heaters keep you nice and toasty, and if you manage to snag a table in summer, you’re in for the best daytime drinking session of the season.
