This cosy bar in the 11th is almost romantic in its rusticity. Not quite cave-like, as the name suggests, but given some real rustic personality by a beautifully exposed curved beam across the centre of the room, with shelves packed full of wine and champagne available to buy by the bottle to take away with you. 

We counted enough seats for 12 drinkers not afraid to get up close and personal with each other. This is the kind of intimate wine bar you'd expect to find in Paris. Get here early if you want to grab a seat (like, before it opens - seriously) and ask the bar team what they recommend. They have 10 rotating choices by the glass daily, and they're all about championing small producers, biodynamics, and natural wines from around Europe - just let 'em know your vibe and they'll find the right vino for you.
