Fancy epic seafood (hello octopus brioche), killer cocktails and one of the best views London has to offer? A little (sea)birdy told us that the 14th Floor at the Hoxton Southwark is the place to be.
Seabird is perched on the roof terrace of one of London's most uber-cool hotels, and it's as mega as we'd hoped. Inside it's an interior dream - think bright and breezy tropical terrace meets under-the-sea mermaid vibes. Rattan chairs and lush palms had us kicking back as if we were at an exotic beach bar. Feeling fancy? Sit up staright at the central seafood & raw counter which is all cute clamshells & glimmering oysters. If you're into these slippery suckers you're in luck - Seabird has London's longest oyster list so you know you're in for a good shucking.
Don your biggest sunglasses 'cos it's that terrace you're really here for - a breezy suntrap with insane views taking in the Thames, Houses of Parliament, St Pauls and The Shard. Get going with one of the fun tiki cocktails that pack a boozy summery punch and tuck into one hell of a food menu. Their Sky-High brunch is fast becoming a city favourite, and the grilled lobster and chips with Bloody Mary ketchup is the bougiest summer lunch around. Wash it down with a glass (ok bottle) of crisp white and round it off with some of their famous manchego cheesecake. BOOM. Oh, and whatever you do, don't leave without trying the octopus brioche rolls. Game changer.
