If you want tattooed chicks, black décor and an escape from the grandeur that is most of Venice then hit Café Noir. It stands out from the crowd in the Santa Margherita area with its divey basement vibes. Don't be fooled - the cocktails still rock and it's the place to get down n’ dirty.

Things kick off after 8pm and the punters in here mean business. The cocktail menu is pretty impressive with everything from your Italian classic Negroni to a fresh cocktail section of the menu with bangers like the Martini Sake – vodka, freshly squeezed lime, cetriolo and sake served ice cold.

Don't be scared, the chicks and their hardcore attitude are pretty awesome so pitch up a stool and knock back some shots with ‘em. The darker it gets the more mysterious Cafe Noir seems, go for an explore around those corners and who knows what you’ll find, BarChick wouldn’t be surprised if there was a brothel through one of those doors. Just sayin.
